About Me

As a former healthy heart coordinator at the Robert Lee YMCA in downtown Vancouver I bring a vast array of experience and expertise. A fitness professional for over 17 years I bring out the best from my clients. Whether you are just starting out on your fitness journey or a seasoned exerciser looking to push your limits, I can help you reach your health and fitness goals. I truly believe that what you do in the gym should mimic what you do, and how you move in the real world, whether that be in sport or in life. 

One of my many areas of expertise is TRX suspension training™. This fantastic tool has incredible versatility and can be adapted to fit almost anyone's needs.
You can instantly modify resistance by adjusting body position, Suspension Training workouts are safe and effective for people of all fitness levels. With a single piece of equiptment that can be set up anywhere, you can perform a virtually endless number exercises to achieve any fitness goal.
Your center of gravity is located just above your hips along the midline of the body. Changing body position shifts your center of gravity, but in most of life's normal activities, it remains within the confines of your torso. Suspension Training exercise techniques are designed to intentionally displace your center of gravity, which activates the core musculature during every exercise.In addition to offering a range of intense movements targeting the abdominals specifically, significant core strengthening is integrated into each, back, shoulder, chest, hip and leg exercise as well. That's all core, all the time!
TRAIN IN 3-D FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE. In sport and in daily activity we move in multiple planes of motion at once. Machines and even free weights limit the planes of motion possible during exercise. Suspension Training exercise accommodates limitless variation in movement angle and planes of motion for virtually all exercises, allowing us to train like we live, rather than sitting down and training one single plane or isolated muscle at a time. A great training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to enable hundreds of exercieses for every sport and/or fitness goal.
